Suggest a thriller to someone who never reads thrillers
What the title says. I am just looking for something fast pace that will keep me gripped and horrify me at least a bit. Preferably not too long (let’s say no more than ~450 pages).
**The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides**
Unfolding the mystery of a woman’s silence after her husband’s murder.
**Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn**
A psychological thriller set around the mysterious disappearance of a man’s wife on their fifth anniversary.
**The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris**
An FBI trainee hunting down a serial killer with the help of another notorious serial killer.

Any Gillian Flynn(My personal favorite is *Gone Girl*)
*Rosemary’s Baby -* Ira Levin
Most Ira Levin books work for this suggestion, this is just the only one I’ve read semi-recently and know I love. Main thriller element is pregnancy horror and gaslighting. Crazy ending.
*My Sister, the Serial Killer -* Oyinkan Braithwaite
Dark comedy that follows an older sister who feels the need to clean up after her younger sisters mistakes, and crime scenes.
*Rebecca -* Daphne du Maurier
A current read that I love so far. A woman is haunted by the ghost(?) of her new husband’s first wife who is said to be dead. I don’t know what the outcome will be, but I’m enjoying the ride so far!
