I’m a sucker for interspecies relationships. I’d like to see a human falling in love with an distinctly non-humanoid (could be a monster/fantasy) with the accompanying embarrassment. No fantasylands where having multiple species is normal (Mass Effect etc.) I’ve read the two books of Lindsay Ellis, and while I don’t think they very good books plot wise I enjoyed the relationship between the two leads.
