I am just realizing that I have a bad habit of falling for damaged, emotionally unavailable men and losing a lot of myself to them by putting in energy to try to heal them. Looking for books that have similar types of relationships— not necessarily healthy, but with heavy emotions involving people with past trauma, and just overall romantic and sad relationships. Gotta read about it instead of partaking myself. thanks!
(Kind of along the lines of Bella and Edward’s relationship in Twilight, but NOT a stupid teen vampire novel, and hopefully ones with much better and more serious plots)
