Trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible, but when reviewing a book it’s hard to not use examples to prove a point.
I haven’t watched the show but I just finished the book and I loved it. I see people saying that it’s sexist and racist so they couldn’t finish it but.. idk it’s a historical novel. I wanted to see some scenes from the book on the TV, and was slightly disappointed, a lot of the inner battle that they have (both sides) is grossly omitted or assumed.
What do you think? Did you enjoy it? What did you learn about culture clash?
