OK here’s the vibe!
So I read Ari and Dante maybe six months ago, and I haven’t stopped chasing the feeling that book gave me. I read it in like a day and then cried my eyes out and haven’t stopped thinking about it like ever. So definitely searching for that same vibe – akin to Pixar’s Luca (I watch this movie like every fcking day it’s getting bad), Ghibli’s Kiki’s Delivery Service / Whisper of the Heart. Definitely queer, coming of age, warm and yearn-y, make me cry my eyes out, in a good or bad way.
Not super stoked on YA (don’t know why Ari and Dante was an exception) or fantasy, but always happy to hear it maybe I’ll find my new fave book! 🙂 Ok thanks! Need to scream and think obsessively about a set of characters again
