pretty much the title. i’ve recently read the seven husbands of evelyn hugo by taylor jenkins reid and tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow by gabrielle zevin. both books have emotionally impacted me on a level i have not felt in a while. i would love to find more books with a similar chronological structure as these two. like an ‘epic’ drama involving the same characters throughout a long period of time.
does not necessarily have to be a romance by any means. books about friendship or even just personal development would also be great. i just love the more immersive feeling i get when i follow the characters through a long period of time and get to see how they change with real life events and the world’s evolution.
