I posted this on r/suggestmeabook and didn’t get many suggestions, so yeah.
I’m trying to pick up reading as another hobby of mine because I haven’t really read for fun besides my reading of books about my favorite bands. And I’d kinda like to diversify my tastes and I think a romance novel could be different from my usual type of media diet, especially because I finished a show as hypermasculine as the Shield.
Some stuff I’ve been into over the past year:
The Mass Effect games
Castle
Community
The Shield
Pink Floyd’s The Wall
The Sopranos
Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Firefly
King of The Hill
The Fly (1986)
The Yakuza games.

It seems you like things that are funny and have a bit of a science element, so I’d suggest starting with Ali Hazelwood’s books! I particularly recommend *Love, Theoretically,* which features an enemies-to-lovers romance between a theoretical physicist and an experimental physicist. One of my top reads of this past year!
