I’m nearing my mid 20’s and I’ve found myself wanting to branch out in terms of what I’m reading, etc.
Usually I’d stick to reading fantasy/horror/sci-fi books but I’m missing studying. I’ve briefly looked into fictional books about existentialism but I’m slightly worried that it’ll take me down a depressive rabbit hole.
I’ve looked into other books such as The Courage To Be Disliked (decided not to read) and When Things Fall Apart (on the fence about reading as it’s apparently beautiful but incredibly depressing.) I’m tempted by reading about Buddhism in the hopes that it holds some personal growth advice but I’m not sure where to begin.
In short; I’m feeling lost in my 20’s and would like some books that can potentially change how I view not only my own life but those around me.
Preferably no self-help books. Thanks.
