Don’t get me wrong – Keira Andrews, E. J. Russell and Ariana Nash are my girls but… I’m yearning for a fantasy adventure that’s really more riveting adventure quest and not so much balls deep erotica with a hint of magic.

lol, but no seriously, the LGBT fantasy section on audible is basically only smut. Again, it has its place, but I want the LGBT equivalent of Lord of the Rings or Ender’s Game? Is that out there somewhere.

    1. Not written by a woman, but David R Slayton’s books are very good gay (not porn) fantasy.

His Adam Binder trilogy is a bit more spooky, but the new series he’s working on is promising.

    2. I’m working on an epic fantasy duology about with a bisexual protagonist. It has some romance (with a woman in book 1 and a man in book 2), but no erotica. The first book will come out in English later this month, if you’re interested.

Disclosure: I haven’t read this yet, but it’s on my list and it sounds really interesting.

There’s a book called Dreadnought by April Daniels that has great reviews. It’s about a superhero named Dreadnought who passes on his mantle and powers before dying, sort of like the origin story of Green Lantern. The person who inherits the powers is Danny Tozer, and one of the powers is that you become your idealized physical self…and Danny was trying to keep it a secret that she’s trans.

Again, haven’t actually read it yet, but every description and review I’ve seen (nothing too in depth since I’m trying to avoid spoilers) suggests that it’s just a really good sci-fi superhero story that deals heavily with LGBT themes, emphasis obviously on the T.
