I’ve seen a lot of people talking about listening to audiobooks while driving or cleaning, but what other types of activities do people like to do?

I’ll listen to audiobooks almost any time I’m not doing something that requires much focus, from eating/cleaning to doing puzzles/playing video games like animal crossing. But sometimes I have to pause the book like when I’m driving if I hit traffic or other drivers start to frustrate me I end up not being able to listen to the book at all (for the most part audiobooks keep me calmer while driving but sometimes people just are too much!) I can’t just sit and listen to an audiobook though, if I’m not doing anything else at all I feel restless.

Do you ever associate any activities/books together? There is one Van Gogh puzzle I was doing while listening to Agatha Christie books, so now when I see that painting i think of murder mysteries.

Please keep any discussion around activities done while listening to audiobooks. If you are anti-audiobook you can complain somewhere else.

      Definitely walking.

Sometimes specific places (parks, etc.) make me remember specific audiobooks I listened to while walking there.

I think adult coloring books are amazing for listening to audiobooks. Also knitting.

    3. Woodworking. Give me 3 hours alone to do some mindless sanding and a good book; now that’s a good day.
