I’m about to finish the most amazing series by Gordon Dahlquist called “the glass books of the dream eaters…” I’m Distraught – I’m in love with this series, and I just don’t want it to end…as all things must I suppose…but I am now wrought with anxiety as to what I am going to read next…
I’m looking for a large tome, something dark, mysterious, and engaging as the title suggests.
What would you recommend?
For Reference here’s a few things that I am considering but haven’t settled on:
The Complete HP Lovecraft (700+ pages – definitely dark and mysterious)
The Complete Tales and Poems by Edgar Allen Poe (1000+ pages – but seems a little difficult to read)
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (700+ pages – also I read it like 15 years ago but I would like to find something new)
