Hello bookies, i am obsessed with books and the stories they tell. I love to read everything fantasy, preferably with romance. Sometimes i dive into other genres (mystery, sci-fi, romance) but i mainly read fantasy. All of my friends don’t read and i can’t talk about books with them. It’s such a big part of my life, my main hobby and influences me in so many ways that i am looking for like-minded women who are obsessed with books and want to read a few books together.
Please don’t recommend bookstagram to find book buddies. I tried and it’s just not for me. So much work goes into making pretty pictures that i wasn’t able to read as much as i did before. I tried several book clubs before which just became inactive rather quickly. If you know a bookclub which is active for a while now, i am super happy to join but i am not interested in creating one at the moment.

r/fantasy – has book clubs (there’s a female centric one too), bingo and is quite active. There’s also specific romantasy subs as well.
Can add friends to your goodreads acc too.
Have you tried Goodreads? They have a fantasy bookclub, I was in it for a while and they got through a lot of books. There seemed to be a mix of genders, hard to tell as people don’t necessarily say. Discussions could get quite lively!
