I need a recommendation for books about angels. I really love Laini Taylor’s Daughter of Smoke and Bones. It’s about a human young woman who in a previous life was a different creature living in an alternate universe on a different planet who falls in love with a warrior angel that is on the team that they are fighting. The concept seems complex but the author is excellent at reeling you into this world and describing everything and combining the right elements to make you love the characters and their story.
I want to find a book about angels that is science fiction ish but still has the angels as good guys. I don’t want a book that is purely a romance story. I like stories where the gist is that the human finds out they are connected to Heaven but must figure out how to help the world that they are in somehow. Something like that please. It can be magical and it can be futuristic etc.

I would have recommended the *Angel*-trilogy by L.A.Weatherly until I read that you want them as good guys 😅 Everything else fits, though…
