I’m not an avid reader, but I’m trying to get more into it. I don’t mind clichés and common formulas, as long as it’s written well.
Some of my favorite books are singles that I’ve tried after or before seeing a movie: Where the Crawdads Sing, Auntie Mame, and Ender’s Game.
I’m finding that I prefer series, so I can stick with the same characters long enough to care about them.
Right now, I’m more in the mood for something a bit more romantic with a bit of eroticism.
Books along these lines that I’ve enjoyed: Earth’s Children series, Fifty Shades and Pleasures of the Night.

Master of the Game by Sidney Sheldon. It’s a soap opera style saga of the rise of McGregor family from nothing to forming one of the biggest conglomerates in America and the story is told from the perspective of the different members from each generation.
There’s a lot of sex and a lot of twists and turns that are actually well delivered and don’t just make you go “Wait, that makes no sense.”
It’s a dramatic, steamy and a thoroughly entertaining read. Check it out.
