During the later years of my school life I was pretty occupied with many thing and thus I didn’t really do any reading at all, but now that I’m about to graduate I’d like to get back to it.
I personally like dystopian/sci-fi/fantasy books that have really good world building and a real adventurous element to it.
Some books I’ve enjoyed in the past include
– Gillian Rubenstein’s otori series
– Neil Shusterman’s scythe series
– Silvermay trilogy by James Moloney
– This australian series I forgot the name of that involves these people learning to time travel and then being hunted by the authorities because of that.
I hope that can give an idea of the sort of stuff I’m into.
I’m just compiling ideas right now so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Winterlong by Elizabeth Hand
For some reason, these two books always come to mind pretty much immediately when I think of the Scythe series. They’re both dystopian and YA, if that matters
The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen, fantasy
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld, sci-fi
