I have recently purchased the novel “S.” By Doug Dorst and conceived by J.J. Abrams. I am extremely intrigued on the layout of the book, as it was not at all what I wad expecting. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to read this book? How do the trinkets that are left inside the book link up to the text? Is it best to read the novel first and them go back and read the notes that are left in the margins? Or is it best to read the notes, then the page? It reminds me of “House of Leaves,” but with much more of a personal feel too it.
Any recommendations on how to enjoy this novel? Thank you in advance!
