I’m open to nonfiction but usually prefer fiction, I want something maybe set during a big storm or tornado or snowstorm, or about being in the wilderness far away from surviving. (Enjoyed into the wild, into thin air, hatchet when I was a kid, etc), or ones where the people are cozy while a storm rages outside or stuck while in a snowstorm

Robinson Crusoe is a book everyone should read.

There’s also Swiss Family Robinson, Black Stallion, and Island of the Blue Dolphins if you never read those as a kid.

Unseen Continent is a really funny book by Terry Pratchett about a wizard stranded in a fictionalized version of the Australian desert.

The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley is a murder mystery set in the scottish highlands during an snowstorm. A great page-turner! And, oddly cozy.
