Hi everyone! I am new to reading fantasy. I just finished the ACOTAR series and the book “The Never King”. I am looking for a new series to read.
I like a slow burn, smut (graphic detailed spicy scenes) I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoyed ACOSF so much. I like banter and tension built up between romantic partners. I have no worries for triggering scenes while reading, so anything spicy and dark would be great!
I enjoy the stereotypical strong male character who can be dominating, BUT has a soft spot for the female character lol, again I think this is a reason why I loved the ACOTAR series so much.
The never King was an easy read, definitely spicy but not enough romance/connection between the characters. It also was a reverse harem which I didn’t love.
I like world building and a good plot to follow. I have read so many suggestions but feel a bit overwhelmed with all the options. If you have 1-2 novels you think sound similar to what I have written, please let me know 🙂
