If you feel like sharing why you got the book and how much you gained, that’d be great!

Sometimes I feel my friends are all closer with each other than me and that people exhibit more care for each other than I do. For example, I have friends who text me “Did you get home safe?” Which strikes me because I never think to do that. You know? Any books on being a better friend? Growing my mind and capacity for caring/relationships?

Edit: I just remembered the other week I was talking with a girl I just met who told me she wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t really know how to reply? It turned out that a good idea suggested to me was to tell them supportive things, let them know they could talk to me about it, etc. So consider that!

    1. Highly recommend The Art of Showing Up by Rachel Wilkerson Miller. Very clear and easy to follow advice for self care and relationships. You can’t have good relationships with others without a good relationship with yourself and this book lays it all out!
