I need recommendations for a self help book I can work on with my Mom. We want to have weekly sessions to work through some childhood trauma that I went through. We want to heal our relationship that broke or didn’t really form because of the trauma. (she didn’t cause the trauma, but there is resentment there). We want to be closer to each other but find it difficult because even though the trauma has long since been over with, it still lingers. We can’t afford group therapy right now, so I thought we could find a workbook we can work together that not only helps us get closer but helps heal some of that trauma. Any suggestions would be great.
