I’ve just recently finished ready Shotgun Lovesongs and I have a little bit of a book hangover. I really loved the rural setting and I guessed I resonated with the book as I’m around the same age as the main characters so I am in a similar stage of life to them. I guess I’m really looking for is something that focuses on the friendships and characters and the plot is really just secondary.
Side note. I actually love fantasy and is what I usually read, I just want something that gives me similar feelings as Shotgun Lovesongs.
