I recently read ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’, and I loved how beautifully the wildlife was described in the book.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a book, that was similarly descriptive.
I tend to read fiction, fantasy (preferably not YA), sometimes historical fiction, and I also love classics. Honestly I’ll read any genre.
Thank you! 🙂

Historical novel Hild, by Nicola Griffith, is about a British 6th century princess who goes on to found a monastery [true story, with a dash – quite a big dash – of imagination]. It’s very descriptive of nature and you can almost smell the mud as well as the flowers! Beautiful writing.
The Overstory by Richard Powers!
I LOVED The Great Alone by Kristen Hannah about Alaska
North Woods by Daniel Mason
