I super recently have gotten into audiobooks starting this month. I am 29 and I only read school required books in school because I just can’t retain what I read but I’ve loved this past month. I flew through the 7 and A Half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle and also Project Hail Mary. I’m hoping you lovely people might have some suggestions that would fit in the ven diagram of these two! I seem to really like stories with these qualities
-First Person story telling
-Some sort of time limit or counting down clock
-A lot of questions are the start
-A normal world with a special twist
-Amnesia or a reason that we start with the same amount of knowledge as the protagonist

Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson or Dark Matter by Blake Crouch may fit the bill for you.
You definitely need to get over to r/audible. It’s full of suggestions for request exactly like this.
