Well, I started reading Fahrenheit 451 after a gazillion years of recommendations from my friends, and I’m loving it so far. What I’ve noticed however, is that even though the story is so damn good, I’m enjoying the prose equally if not more. The way he describes simple things put an unforgettable imagery in your head and I’d compare Bradbury to Oscar Wilde in that respect even though both have very different tendencies.
I also got around reading his short stories like The Pedestrian, The Veldt, A Sound of Thunder etc, and WHATTA GUY.
I also found out that he wrote Fahrenheit 451 on a typewriter, so he couldn’t edit it and this blows my mind even though I don’t know the actual details of this.
EDIT: Wow this got way more replies than I had imagined. Thank you all for the recommendations, i shall go into a reading spree!
