Hello! I was thinking of reading “a little life,” thinking that it would feel good to get invested into a good cry book. However, after reading many reviews, it just seems too bleak and sad to read for fun. Can anyone recommend a book that will make me happy cry and sad cry? Something that highlights how beautiful and harsh the ebb and flow of life can be? If that even makes sense 😂 just wanna be hit in the feels!

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine made me cry! But nowhere near as depressing as A Little Life.
The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. Its a very interesting book about a girl who was just kicked out of the foster care system trying to find her way.
