I like the idea of that badboy delinquent with grandiose ideas to transform the world in a relationship with a person that just tags along with them. Maybe supportive, perhaps the love is one sided.
Another example is The Jackal from Red Rising. He was in a relationship with one person I can’t remember and I recall wondering how cool it’d be to read their story. Do they end up in a relationship? Does it end in heartbreak? That was before the ending of course. There’s no characters for that story to go on.
But you get my point. I need that in my life right now. It’s a very interesting concept. I want to psycho analyse those characters based off of them in a relationship with each other.
