Books With Family Trauma amd Dysfunctional Relationships
I recently finished The Nest by Cynthia D’aprix Sweeney and it had me spill over in to watching six feet under for the 20th time. Now I am looking for a book with themes such as those.
So the books I’m mentioning are memoirs. I don’t know if that’s your style, but family trauma / dysfunctional relationships are all a major component of these books, or it’s the main focus!
* Educated – Tara Westover (this is one of my favorite books of all time and got me into reading)
* Stray – Stephanie Danler
* This Bright Future – Bobby Hall/Logic
* The Glass Castle – Jeannette Walls
