I have an incredibly difficult time finding books that fit the genre/writing style that I enjoy. The genre’s I enjoy range heavily, but the writing style is what really makes the book for me. The books I enjoy are written with a Reflective/Poetic/Philosophical writing style, and are typically a bit quirky (but not cheesy). PLEASE share recommendations because while I LOVE reading, it is SO difficult to find books that I like (because it’s not necessarily a genre I can search for and find an endless supply of options).

Here are my top favorite books, all of which have that same reflective/poetic/philisophical style that I enjoy:
\- How to Stop Time (Matt Haig)
\- Midnight Library (Matt Haig – I also enjoyed his book”The Humans”)
\- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue ( V. E. Schwab)
\- I’m only a few pages in but I love the writing style of Daisy Darker (Alice Feeney), because it has that same kind of reflective writing style
