I’m looking for your scariest suggestions. Before this becomes a Stephen King thread, I’ve pretty much read them all, and, forgive me for saying, that he might not be my type. That being said, I’m not really looking for something fantastical so much as making me scared to walk down my dark hallway to go to bed.
I recently read The Whisper Man by Alex North and The Changeling by Victor LaValle, for reference. I highly recommend them for those of you looking for something similar.
