she doesn’t read much but she’s been saying she wants to get into reading so i’m trying to find the perfect book for her.
she has mentioned she would like a book with the themes of finding yourself in your late 20s, being lost/unsure in life.
i asked her what her favourite book she’s ever read is and she loved “the girl with seven names” by hyeonseo lee, so she definitely loves a dramatic memoir and enjoys hard hitting/ dramatic themes.
bonus points for something that is queer and/or focuses on the asian diaspora experience
