I just finished Good Omens, and I totally love the relationships between Aziraphale and Crowley. Any recommendations for books / books series that are similar? (I.e. queer books with enemies/friends to lovers).

    1. This is such a cliched recommendation at this point, but The Song of Achilles. Idk if it really counts as friends to lovers, but I think you might enjoy it if you like fantasy. I also quite like the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling (fantasy) with the caveat that it’s an older series and there’s a bit of an age gap between the main characters, which might be off-putting.

Also Winter’s Orbit by Everina Maxwell (this is sci-fi that’s pretty light on the science part). It’s got some light enemies to lovers, soap-opera vibes (in a good way).

    2. PsychopompousEnigma on

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. Coming of age following two Mexican-American boys.

They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. In a world where people receive a call on the day they will die, two teenage boys meet and spend their last day together.

    3. I haven’t read Good Omens yet so I’m not sure if this matches up, but if you’re into books that include magic try {{White Trash Warlock by David Slayton}}.

The Will Darling Adventures by KJ Charles – post-WWI spy shenanigans trilogy which starts with *Slippery Creatures.*

    5. *Witchmark* by CL Polk is the start of a very sweet series that is magical realism and a very cozy read. Feels a little like a Harry Potter vibe but for adults. It’s also the start of a series so if you like it you can keep diving in.
