Ok I need some help with what I should do with this situation. I ordered a book off Amazon that was published in February and received a first edition first print. However it had water damage on the last 50 pages and small scuff marks and rips all over the side and back covers, so I asked for a new one to be sent and I would send this back to them.

The replacement came in today, and I was disappointed to find that it’s a first edition second printing. The book is Bride by Ali Hazelwood. If this was you would you just email Amazon and pay for the second printing, and keep both, or would you send the damaged first print back like originally planned?

I have no issues paying for the second copy if I kept both, I just don’t know if I’m being unreasonable by wanting the first edition first print so badly (I will add that I collect first edition first prints as often as possible with all my books).
