So my reading taste is all over the place. I hate monotony so could never only read one kind of book. I had read I Am Legend and Hell House so knew I liked the author but this book…. Blindsided me as one of the most influential book I’ve ever read. Was NOT expecting that at all.
I recently had a friend from work read it, and he loved it to you and asked me if there were any books I knew like it. Truth is, I do not know any other books like it. It was completely unique and it’s content. Does anyone else know a book like it?

The Hanged Man and the Fortune Teller is pretty similar, but admittedly not as good. There is a really interesting secondary character that I love in this book.

Horror/scifi

I don’t know what aspect of “What Dreams May Come” attracted you, but if it’s the afterlife aspect here are a few suggestions:
• Lost Gods by Brom
• A Short Stay in Hell by Steven Peck
• Reincarnation Blues by Michael Poore
• The Midnight Library by Matt Haige
• Sum by David Eagleman
