So I just read the book, and I have to say, although it’s quite creative and the story is pretty good, I still have a few minor complaints.
I expected this book to be about how Mickey7 and Mickey8 hide their secrets among the others, or discuss whether clones have souls, but we hardly saw any of that. In fact, most of the story revolved around the two Mickeys being hungry and fighting over who can eat more or who will need to go to work. In the middle of the story, another Girl appeared and had some interactive with Mickey7, making it seem like they were going to push forward with a romantic subplot. and in next chapter this concept was abandoned, felt like the author changed his mind at the last moment.
Overall, this book is not perfect, I feel like the author has a lot of great ideas but couldn’t fully depict them all. but I still really like it. It’s an interesting read, I would still recommend it.
