I have come to one realization pretty late in my life, I’d say: that I do not enjoy reading fictional books as much as I used to. I have started reading non-fiction, and it truly gives me more insights about the world than fiction.
I was living in a dilemma that I could never stop enjoying reading fictional books. But after reading ‘1984’, I don’t know what happened. Maybe it was the ending that made me feel like I should just stop reading fiction for a while. Starting today, for a few months, I will only read non-fictional books.
Please give some good recommendations, nothing too popular because I think I have already read a few of those.
