I am an ally – I have no problem with trans people. I just want to understand the various issues surrounding trans identities. What do doctors and scientists say about it, what trans people themselves say about it. There has been a lot of controversy about gender affirming care and about trans women in sports…I guess I want to understand all the complex issues regarding trans identities. Again – I am an ally. I am only asking because it would be horribly rude to walk up to a trans person and ask them to educate me – that’ not their job. 😅
