Hello! I am going through another phase of wanting to read retellings, but there are so many these days because a lot of authors saw how popular they are and decided to write one. I find it a bit hard to find *the* best ones.

I read A song of Achilles and Circe, of course, and I loved them a lot. I read Ariadne and while I loved her writing style and the story, I didn’t like the ending. I saw that she came out with Elektra and Atalanta (this one I would really want to read and give her a second chance).

I love if they are feminist, but that’s not a requirement. And I want real and well fleshed feminism that goes hand in hand with the story, I don’t want something forced if that makes sense. Thank you!

    1. its not explicitly a retelling of greek mythologies but “kingdom of the wicked” series by kerri maniscalco and ACOTAR by sarah j maas are both derived from the story of hades and persephone just on the themes. I havent found anyone better than Madeline Miller at retelling myths in that way honestly.
