Scorched Grace by Margot Douaihy – set in post-Katrina New Orleans
Dare Me by Megan Abbott – takes place in an unidentified town on the traditional lands of the Apache.
Look up author Tony Hillerman. His books are set in Arizona, Utah or New Mexico, I don’t remember where. One of his main characters is a cop who is a Navajo Indian .
I read several a long time ago don’t remember much other that I enjoyed them enough to read a handful of books by him
