I hope this is the right place to ask this question.
I was cleaning my bookshelf recently and when I put my books back in I damaged two of them.
It’s weird because the cover is all hard and almost… crunchy? They’re paperback so they should be soft and flexible.
One of them the corner of the cover just tore off. The other one had the cover page torn almost top to bottom and is hanging on by a hair.
Anyone know what happened?
I wanted to post a picture with, but I see you can’t.
What would be the best way to fix these if it’s possible at all? They’re not the most amazing books, but I’ve had them for over 20 years now and they have some sentimental value.
