I am only halfway into chapter 10, so please don’t spoil me too much. Chatterley hass only slept with Mellors twice from where I paused reading.
Constance Reid wants to connect with a man both sexually and as a friend. But everyone either is only a friend or a sex thing, never both.
And somehow, consistently so far, the part of the women hating the men after their first sex gets brought up. And that the German guy from her childhood is her only partner who is both a friend and a sex buddy?
So far I am enjoying it, though it does seem slightly complex because I am not understanding what the characters are feeling. What else should I look out for in terms of the characters’ emotions? Clifford is baffling to me already.
