Hi guys, I’m looking for **non-fiction** books about games, especifically on game mechanics, rules, etc.
Think youtube videos over-analysing every single game in Alice in Borderland or Squid Game – is there a book similar to this? I would be particularly interested in the theory behind how games structured or how they come to be in general terms, although some specific games might interest me.
Also interested in video games, but I feel like these types of books are easier to find on random online lists.
I’ve been looking for something like this for a while on my own, unseccessfully. If there’s someplace to look, this has to be it. Hope you can help me!
