I really enjoyed Year One by Nora Roberts. The way it blended post apocalypse and urban fantasy was fun and unique. But the massive timeskip afterwards for the chosen one was not for me. So I suppose I am looking for something post-apocalyptic with a twist that focuses completely on the early survival years. Like magic or psychic powers though instead of time travel or space station on the moon to survive. Any ideas?
