I have the audio version and am going nuts about a plot point that seems to be missing. At first there is a nuclear missile described as heading toward the U.S. east coast, exact target unknown. Then suddenly it’s described as heading specifically toward Washington D.C. in particular. This is around the 14 Minutes chapter. I’ve gone back to earlier chapters but can’t find the moment D.C. is identified, or how, or by whom. Can anyone locate this for me? Or does the story make this leap unexplained?
