As embarrassing as it may sound I read the the 1st page of the gunslinger and could immediately tell that I wouldn’t enjoy it cuz my English isn’t good enough. So suggest a bunch of fiction books and novels which each increase in their reading difficulty until I get to the point where reading the dark tower series becomes for me what the wimpy kid series is now. By that I don’t mean to say that the dark tower books will require less effort to get my head around but I don’t want to be using Google to check up the meaning of a word after every few sentences. If you know what I mean

I would suggest buckling down and reading The Dark Tower series to help improve your English. I know it’s a PITA to Google words, but it will help increase your vocabulary. By the time you get done with the series, your English vocabulary will have improved greatly.
If you just can’t bring yourself to do it, though, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid is for 8-12 year olds, so you should look for books a little above that age range. Teenage literature fits the bill.
