I am approx 60 pages from the end of this book? And my brain is buzzing rn so I just gotta get some thoughts and feelings out. This book, it’s well written, it’s interesting, Vasya is a wonderful lead. It’s funny that this book is basically 70% buildup, 30% what the blurb describes on the back of the book but goddd is it worth it. I, personally, am a sucker for buildups and slow starts – there were only a couple of chapters that felt like they dragged? It was just, especially now that I’ve entered the action aspect of the book, a great buildup imo. I can easily see how others could find the book potentially boring. I guess I’m just very excited to continue the series as now I feel like I have too. Just… overall a wonderful book. My poor purse 💔
