So I don’t really like romance, but this particular dinamic I always enjoyed, so I thought I should give it a try. Didn’t have great luck finding anything though. I really have 2 examples of this
– Jordan and Dr. Cox from Scrubs
– >!Javre and Whirrun!< from Joe Abercrombie’s Sharp Ends
You know, when they understand each other where noone else does, but mostly because they don’t make sense.
Preferably fantasy, and preferably romance is more of a subplot. Also I’d rather it be more on a funny side rather than too serious

Maybe Trickster’s Choice and Trickster’s Queen. They’re part of the Lioness series by Tamora Pierce but can be read as their own thing (that’s what I did). The romance is definitely a subplot not the main focus and they’re both definitely weird.
The Locked Tomb (*Gideon the Ninth*, etc).
