I’m a big Stephen King fan but his books have never really scared me. Pet Semetary, IT, etc. they are scary but not really terrifying.
I want to read a book that will give me nightmares and make me sleep with the lights on for a couple weeks. Gore, heavy topics, all of that is fine. Just no dead animals please.
