It doesn’t necessarily have to be a super positive book but just a book that you found so engrossing that it felt like you didn’t think about the outside world at all while reading it, and obviously nothing super heavy or dark.
Really, really, really needing a distraction and comfort read right now.
thanks!

The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison, but you need to be at least a bit comfortable with linguistics
The Galaxy, and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers. A group of inhabitants from the universe get trapped on a planet. Their cultural differences and their own personal struggles lead to a lot of small and interesting problems. It is the last book of a series but you don’t need to read the first ones.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. Major comfort book. I’ve reread five times.
A Gentleman in Moscow.
