I clearly read this for the new Scorsese prep. But wow. I think I want to read every book by David Grann.
The setup in the beginning where we discover Anna’s body. It was an HBO pilot in my head. I loved the rich history of the Osage how they ended up there. I loved how we got the relevation it was Hale. How far they kept to keep the Osage quiet. The FBI’s case on catching them finally.
The end where we realized there are more than Hale. There are more wolves in sheep’s clothing all around us.

Wait until you read “The Wager”…..I also love David Grann. The movie previews seem like it could be good!

“The Wager” was a solid historical narrative. Recommended.
The Wager is really good too. Super informative about the kind of stuff you hear about but don’t really understand about old naval warfare.
