Hi everyone,
I’m currently doing my master’s in literary studies and a foreign language teaching. In the context of my research in German literature (my master’s thesis sounds like “The Reflection of Terrorsim in the Works of German-speaking Writers of the 2nd Half of the 20th Century”), I need to pick one-two more books for the literary analysis.
There are more details on it: I’ve already done some analysis on Josef Haslinger’s “Opernball” (1995), Heinrich Böll’s “The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum” (1974) and “The Safety Net” (1979). Also, I’ve done a lot of research on the Internet, yet didn’t manage to find any relevant fiction books on terrorism by German-speaking writers, namely from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, or Lichtenstein. For instance, there is a book on Münich Olympics massacres by George Jonas called “Vengeance” (1984), but he was a Canadian writer with Jewish-Hungary origin. Thus, it doesn’t fit me at all.
Could you, please, recommend me any books that can meet my research needs? Books can be translated into Russian, Ukrainian, and English. Thanks a lot for your help!
